I hear ya! That sounds like my oldest son, who has gotten into gun collecting the past few years.

As for me, well, I have learned to keep my collecting things obsession under control these days, or else, between that obsessive behavior, and from the fact that I sometimes go nuts when people tell me what to do with my life, I would probably go broke building a REAL arsenal. My last few gun show visits last year, I just limited myself to ammo.

And my son and I got together last summer and discussed becoming more “standardize” in our purchases. That way, we are not spending so much on so many differing calipers of ammo. I saw the handwriting on the wall, and instead of spreading our purchases around, we bulked up on certain calipers, and tried to limit the fire arms purchases to ones that use those bulked up items...

This cannot be allowed to stand, if gunowners are cut off from youth of today, we will become the UK only much more quickly.

It makes more sense to deal with this now by swarming and over running the deluded such as that dude sob, then to do nothing.

Nothing anyone can say will change Mr. Hu Flung Dung's opinions. He's looking to stir things up, so do NOT waste your time giving him the attention he wants. His words are unimportant, and we do not hear him.

Don't debate idiots. Use your time to better effect (like teaching a kid to shoot).

All gun owners should form up their own local militia.

I have many and have ordered a Saiga auto load 12 gauge to go along with Kimber, Ruger, Colt, Marlin, Dragonov, etc etc.
I’m sitting here ready.

HollyB,
My kid goes on line and buys a russian sniper rifle,
Then he goes on line and buys ammo from russia.
Seems they made a whole load for the Chechen war.
Now the russians are trying to make money by selling VERY good grade ammo that can be brought to your home by Federal Express of big brown.
The rifles need be sent to a local gun dealer and then picked up after the background check and all.
Also he has to use a russian to english translator program to do it.
Personally I go on line and find it and have it delivered.
Just look for the best price and place the order. No problem.

I am expecting a ban on imported ammo and gun parts to be next. A real shame since Russians make good basic cheap and usable product for the average American citizen (not their own ironically) .

Perhaps it will be to the benefit of the us manufacturer, but it will cost more in the process.

Been real interesting having U.P.S. show up with a couple thousand rounds of ammo in wooden boxes with old soviet or Romanian markings.
