This speech was really good. I found 99% of it to be refreshing. I did not however agree with him supporting the use of taxpayer money to decorate Thaine’s office. Rush called it stimulus. I think I would like to keep my money and spend it the way that I see fit. That is stimulus too. And that is America. This is one of the cases where Rush contradicts himself in that he is actually advocating socialism in this one instance.
Listen to it again. I believe he said Thane was using their own money to redecorate, not the taxpayers. He said it quickly, leading in.
That’s what I thought, too: That the redecoration was a year before the stimulus money. Does anyone remember which YouTube segment that is in?
BTW, I read yesterday that at least one Louisiana bank was returning stimulus money, because they were ok without it, and accepting it actually put them at a disadvantage (Feds’ rules that came along with the $$.) So... It IS possible for a bank to essentially say, “Sorry, No Thanks”?
Certainly does... my niece and nephew are prime examples of having been homeschooled...Nephew has masters now in engineering and had decided he wants to add a law degree. Niece is taking pre-med.

Rush’s speech was excellent - far ahead of the focus-group claptrap that we get out of our politicians. Rush’s speech was about ideas and principles. Not the usual I’m-gonna-give-you-this mush.
Love those home schooling stats about your niece and nephew. I hope my kids follow a similar track.

Limbaugh III, "The way things oughta be" & "See I told you so" (autographed)...'Books mean something'... the scourge of the Mississippi, Steelers loving, Reagan honoring, last bastion of conservatism, 'Fair Doctrine' ban heh... Limbaugh is back! But you're RIGHT...that he 'just mentioned' the Tea Parties is Golden! The world saw some minor restoration of 'order' from chaos, optimism from 'Obamism', Luke Skywalker from Darth Vader, Ice from Thin Ice, 'I am an American Soldier and will always be an American Soldier' from 'I surrender', New Years birth from 'Irish Wake', Optimism from Depression! Now for traction and legs! and nice of Fox to actually broadcast it twice!
It takes hard work and dedication, but you know that! My sister and her husband sacraficed a lot of things over those years so she could stay home with them... but it has paid off with two fine individuals...
