President Obama Names Pro-Abortion Kathleen Sebelius Health Secretary
LifeNews.com ^ | February 28, 2009 | Steven Ertelt

Posted on 02/28/2009 5:13:33 PM PST by SErtelt

Washington, DC -- Strongly pro-abortion Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius has accepted President Barack Obama's request to serve as the Health Secretary. Sebelius has one of the most radical pro-abortion record of any elected official and a longstanding relationship with a late-term abortion practitioner.

White House officials told the New York Times as late as February 18 that Sebelius had emerged as Obama's leading choice for the position. Then, this week, they acknowledged that her pro-abortion record could cause problems for her nomination.

Obama's decision to announce his selection on a Saturday is designed to play down news coverage of his selection of a hardcore abortion advocate to lead his health care reform efforts and to implement his pro-abortion agenda.

He will make the announcement official on Monday.

As the health secretary, Sebelius could have an impact in crafting a health care plan that could cover abortions with taxpayer funds or require insurance companies to cover abortions in their plans.

The woman is the child and grandchild of professional politicians. Her husband writes warrants for federal police.

No one in her family has had honest employment for generations.

Topping it off she hates babies with a passion.

It was noted that she was raised as a Catholic and attended Catholic schools and even has a Catholic college degree. Unfortunately not a single element of Catholic instruction of any kind rubbed off on her.

I would not hire this woman to watch a cash register.

This is disgusting.

Prolifers must become more vocal in opposing this culture of death that is the Obama Administration.

Bishops and other Church leaders must speak out, as Bishop Martino of Scranton did this week in his letter to Sen. Bob Casey.

Unfortunately as you get her out of Kansas she'll move to the Washington DC area ~ as will a number of her hangers-on and syncophants.

Those pukes think of this area as "great access to main highways" and move in all over the place.

We'll have to be more vigilent, particularly if any small children get kidnapped off the streets.

A nearby community had that problem when the Clintonistas lived around here ~ this, BTW, is no joke. A certain class of Democrat attracts such trashy people and this ol'gal is one of 'em.

Kill the unborn children first, then ration health care to the elderly and we are on our way to doing away with global warming.

My priest, visiting priest, and I had a conservation this evening about the Conscience Clause that Bush signed into law right before he left office.

It looks like Obama will be rescinding it.

From what I have been hearing it was going to be rescinded after he nominated his Health Secretary. (I guess the unborn's health doesn't matter)

Obama could not have made a worse choice. This a a big slap in the face to the Prolife Movement:

“Sebelius is most notorious for her close relationship with late-term abortion practitioner George Tiller, who has escaped prosecution and accountability thus far for allegedly repeatedly violating state abortion laws. However, a judge recently ruled charges against him from the state attorney general’s office can move ahead.

He’s done so in part because of the lax standards of Sebelius and her political allies, to whom Tiller has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars. Governor Sebelius vetoed a bill last April that the legislature approved that would have strengthened the state’s limits on late-term abortions.

That followed by a year her veto of a bill requiring explicit medical reasons for a late abortion, which was preceded by vetoing other pro-life legislation in 2006, 2005 and 2003.

Sebelius went as far as to coordinate a secret event with Tiller at the governor’s mansion that was criticized because her staff failed to officially report the event.

Her position favoring abortion is so radical and extreme that Archbishop Joseph Naumann of Kansas City called on her to stop receiving communion until she disowns her support for the “serious moral evil” of abortion.”

That’s the plan—eliminate the weak and defenseless first.

That’s how the Nazis started. First the disabled, including WWI veterans who were amputees. Then the orphans—the orphanages were cleared out. “Useless eaters” the Nazis called them.

Children were “selected” on the basis of their looks. Handsome Aryan-looking kids were adopted out. The homely, the sickly, those with big ears (Obama would have been one of the first kids to get it!), the bedwetters—these were expendable.

Elderly folks living away from their children, in obscure places, were carted off to “hospitals” where the gas-killing methods were being tried out. Large numbers of obituaries of people 60 to 80—people known to be healthy—started appearing in the newspapers of villages and towns.

It’s going to happen again, folks. We see the beginnings now.

Everyone should read "A Sign forCain" by Frederick Wertham.

He lays out the Nazi method of eliminating the unwanted and undeserving (as determined by the government)--the "lives devoid of value".

We can see where Obama is going with his grand plan.

Here's an excerpt from "A Sign for Cain":

As early as autumn 1939, a student of psychology, later a public-school teacher, Ludwig Lehner, was permitted with other visitors to go through the state hospital Eglfing-Haar. He went there as part of his studies in psychology.

In the children's ward were some twenty-five half-starved children ranging in age from one to five years. The director of the institution, Dr. Pfannmueller, explained the routine. We don't do it, he said, with poisons or injections. 'Our method is much simpler and more humane.'

With these words, the fat and smiling doctor lifted an emaciated, whimpering child from his little bed, holding him up like a dead rabbit. . . . The methods employed were deliberate withdrawal of food, poisoning, or in many cases a combination of both. The poisoning was done by injections or overdoses of drugs.

Patients screaming from hunger were not unusual. If it got too bad, they were given injections which quieted them, made them apathetic, or killed them. This was called euthanasia too. 'Euthanasia' by starvation.

*********************

It starts with the unborn babies, and escalated from there.

Germans are so “practical”. Heartlessly so; and I have to wonder if they’ve really been shamed out of that mindset after WWII as a majority.

I’m afraid some of that spirit resides in many of our “elite” in this country. God help us. What a bunch of arrogant pigs.

Ugh. I feel like just leaving until this bunch overreaches (oh, wait, they already have), or at least overreaches to the point where people will be amazed and disgusted. Like with Clinton, I intend to pray that, aside from being able to live in peace, I pray that Obama, like Clinton, will be exposed completely. - I think we’re all afraid to look. Alan Keyes appears to be one of the few who has seen clearly what the emperor has in mind.
