Folks are not going to be looking for "hate" (e.g., CNN); they are going to be looking for something genuine. Something real. Something they can do and wrap their hands around. Rush is carrying that message.

People sometimes forget the origins of Jazz, and all the factors which conspired to bring a new message to a very depressed nation during the Great Depression.

This is also the beauty of the Tea Parties. Musicians used old instruments to craft an entirely new way of presenting old and new songs. People gathered to dance. The key is ... improvising -- making do with what you have and fashioning it into something very usable.

Who is John Galt? Ask Rush. :)

Yet, even here there’s a lot of pessimism about the Tea Parties posted. I tire of hearing how ‘useless’ they are. Every fire needs a spark!

“Who is John Galt?”

Ayn Rands book Atlas Shurgged sold over 200,000 copies last year and sales are increasing. A recent report posted here on FR stated that over 8 percent of Americans have read the book and this number is growing.
