A) Watch your mouth. How rude of you.
B) Look in the mirror - YOU may be talking about euthanasia, but THIS THREAD IS ABOUT SUICIDE. If you want to talk about euthanasia, go find a thread about that!
To: BagCamAddict

Is this a humor thread?

I am for more freedom and less laws. You?
To: BagCamAddict
YOU may be talking about euthanasia, but THIS THREAD IS ABOUT SUICIDE. Only apologists for the culture of death distinguish between the two.

You HAVE NOT answered my question. It's hard to carry on a discussion with someone that lies about your position without posting anything to support their lies. I repeat. I am for more freedom and fewer laws. You?

I’m out. You two resort to ad hominem tactics and can’t stay on topic, so this thread is dead to me. Have fun debating in illogical land.
It’s embarrassing to be of the same political affiliation as the likes of you. Truly.

I have never proposed more laws enacted.
Assisted suicide is ILLEGAL in all but a few states, to change that requires the enactment of NEW LAWS.
So, which is it? Do you support NEW LAWS or not?

wag, I merely asked a simple question to the other poster. I am pro-life, but if he or she cannot explain their position then they are just repeating whart everyone else is saying.

Waggle bee, Assisted suicide is part of the preparation for socialized medicine. The left wants to reduce the burden on the healthcare system at both ends of the life span. It’s pretty simple, actually.
In truth, doctors have been using assisted suicide for senior citizens and cancer patients for quite a long time, when the doctors determine that they are either near death or may as well be, so this is just making it legal. (and disgusting)

You are talking about “forcing” people to stay alive, I am unaware of any such policy and certainly haven’t seen it advocated on this thread.

And along with socialized medicine and euthanasia, the leftist culture of death will bring us THIS:
This person suffering from hereditary defects
costs the people 60,000 Reichmarks during his lifetime.
People, that is your money. Read New People.

Have you ever seen the police reaction to someone who is attempting to commit suicide?
Have you read the laws about governmental use of force over citizens who are a danger to themselves>

That is giving people mental health, but ultimately they are not “forced” to remain alive.
Conventional wisdom is that people who engage in these public suicide dramas are actually looking for help. Those who are serious do it in private.
But just so we’re straight, do you believe that, in addition to those who may or may not be terminally ill, mentally ill people should be left alone to kill themselves?
