The underhanded Obama administration has quietly moved to rescind the “conscience clause” found in agreements between the federal government and Catholic hospitals.

Mr. Madison has introduced his long expected amendments... The rights of conscience, of bearing arms, of changing the government, are declared to be inherent in the people.
- Fisher Ames, Letter to F.R. Minoe, June 12, 1789.

Conscience is the most sacred of all property.
- James Madison, National Gazette, March 29, 1792

You would thing a Constitutional scholar would know that the three branches of government are separate, but EQUAL.

The President has no authority to act above and beyond what the Congress is allowed to do unless the Constitution itself enumerates it.

---------------

In today's terms, the President just violated US CODE Title 18, Section 242....Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law.

excellent

Now, who has “standing” to uphold anything anymore?

BTW- I suppose bamster’s edict also eliminates the conscientious objector status for military service.
