"He knows what's worth losing over and he's willing to act on it," Biden said. "In his heart, I know he's a Democrat."

Boy this is really going to help a Republican when he helps Obama. I don't know whether Biden is deliberately stabbing Spector in the back or whether he is just plain stupid, or both.

"In his heart, I know he's a Democrat."

Him, and Collins, and Snowe, and Murkowski. All four need to go.

And that's the kind of stuff you get from a man who'se had unsuccessful brain surgery three times.

He simply doesn't realize that Spector is senile, a condition that he can no longer differentiate from being a Democrat.

He’s trying to get him out of office to be replaced by another liberal dem, that’s all.

doesn’t that assume unanimity for Dems on the issue? I’m doubtful they’ll have it. My guess is Specter’s health will take him out before 11/2010 anyway.

I heard today that Pat Toomey is considering another primary run at Specter for the 2010 PA republican senate spot. Toomey should have won last time except for Bush supporting Specter. That won’t happen this time and Toomey will win. Toomey will also beat any Democrat that would face him in the general election.

“He knows what’s worth losing over and he’s willing to act on it,” Biden said. “In his heart, I know he’s a Democrat.”

And you guys had me convinced Biden is stupid. He hit the nail on the head with this one. In his heart Spectre IS a Democrat. So are Snowe and Collins. Mccain too IMO.

It is the first true statement Biden has spoken since he became Obama’s chief of fools.

As much as I want (and genuinely like Pat) Franco Harris may run as a Dem (can we count on issues not Immaculate Reception awe?). Now if Specter runs as an Independent things could get real interesting (in a three way split).

Specter has been elevated to “maverick” status. McCain is jealous.

In my heart, I know that he is too.
