It was uncovered late in the campaign (but not reported by the fawning media) that the Obama campaign had removed the address verification check on credit card transactions, thereby making it possible for credit card donations from anywhere in the world to be made without checking that they were coming from the US.

Excellent observation. And absolutely correct. A documentary needs to be made about Obama's campaign funding shenanigans.
