The statement was organized by Catholics United, a Washington-based non-profit that promotes the church’s social teachings and the mission of justice and peace.

The only two of those folks with whom I'm familiar are Kmiec, one of That One's biggest apologists, and Steinfels, who can always be counted on to push the most liberal ideas for the Church.

They certainly don't represent the Catholic Church, only their own liberal political interests.
