Lexington Reservoir's looking pretty full these days.

That said, Scotts Valley is offering some financial incentives to change your lawn to xeriscape. I may look into it.

I am NOT giving up my garden. What I am going to do is develop a little spring on the property, pump that water to storage tanks, and also use the tanks to capture rain water. Why we don’t have cisterns is beyond me. We let 40 to 50 inches of rain a year just pour off the roof and into the woods. I want to capture some of it.
