Notice, the Bishop did not rebuke Brownback.

Most Biships know how to play politics, to some degree.

Folks, there is a chance the Sebelius will be in trouble over an ethics problem, and that might cause her some trouble in the confirmation:

However, I still say that getting Sebelius out of Kansas is great for Kansas, and great for the prolife movement.

If she does not get this cabinet position, who ever takes her place will be just as bad on the issue, but not as harmful to Obama.

So when Sebelius says, “Catholics like my good friend Senator Brownback understand that reasonable people can disagree...” Brownback’s response will be what, exactly?

That is because bishops follow Scripture and will talk to some PRIVATELY before making it public.

Highly unlikely, there are very few people at this level who are anywhere near as militantly pro-abortion as Sebelius, Daschle certainly wasn't.

As governor, Sebelius has systematically ignored the law and promoted abortion as much as possible, at HHS she will push her policies nationwide.
