After detailed maps of local military operations and anti-government slogans were found in a south Minneapolis apartment, federal authorities are now involved in the investigation.
The three tenants were evicted from the property this weekend, but what they left behind has caught the interest of the FBI and Homeland Security.
A cleaning crew made the discovery shortly before 12 p.m. on Tuesday.
One of the workers told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS they noticed maps on the walls with government chains and commands.
Inside a closet, they found numerous rolls of maps. Authorities said the details are disturbing.
"We ran into a bunch of blue prints of Minneapolis-St. Paul Army Air Force property. It had thickness of walls, hour ratings, explosives and fires," said one of the men with the cleaning crew, who wished to remain anonymous.
They also discovered several bumper stickers with anti-government messages.
The crew then called Minneapolis Police who have since collected the items as evidence.
PING......
Was this the old 0bama campaign headquarters?
Those evil Lutherins.
“anti-government slogans...”
Yeah, so? Why is that suspicious? The country is filled with those types.
Naw, this looks more like those Amish extremists.
Let me guess. Menonites?
Only the Wisconsin Synod!
Kudos to the cleaning crew for making the call.
Dang, you beat me to it!
No, just friends of Erkel.
Erkel should be at least smart enough to soil his pants.
Course, at this point a terrorist attack could be an inside job aimed at declaring Marshal Law to finish the job of finishing the United States.
Erkel has already been at it 6 weeks and its not going fast enough for him.
Ditto.
The video report described them as “locals”.....
We got a lot of “locals” around here......
Indeed.....
Minnesota aka Somalia.
LLS
I know about the military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, and even the Philippines, but what military operations are going on in Minnesota, and how successful have they been?
Move along. This was just the local ACORN office.
Lots of evil lutherans like this in Minnesota now you mean?

Many of not most are here illegally too like their head guy who is always on the twin cities news running his filthy mouth about how unfair everything is. His name is Omar Jamal.

The biggest part of being prepared (which is sage advice) for the worst is by praying that it never gets to “worst case”.

I know.......Badly composed story by an intern...
Only account I could find....
I think they reference the Military action as al franken’s attack on the Constitution.

Dillon or Cogburn? Martial
Erkel has already been at it 6 weeks and its not going fast enough for him
Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Possible military blueprints found in Minneapolis apartment
http://www.kare11.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=541145&catid=2
bottom bit of article
Minneapolis police won’t say what they found in the apartment.
The call was described in a police report as a ‘homeland security offense’.
Police say the investigation is now in hands of the FBI. At this point, it’s not clear whether the blueprints are authentic, who they belong to or how that person got them.
KARE 11 spoke with someone who once lived in the apartment. He says the drawings had been there a long time.
His roommate saw them but didn’t know what they were.
To Ramone, his find had potential security implications, important to report to authorities.
“Better safe than sorry,” he says.
KARE 11 spoke with an agent from the local office of the FBI and he says the case was indeed referred to the FBI by Minneapolis police.
The FBI is conducting an assessment of the items and information provided by investigators.
Ramone says several people lived in the apartment, as many as ten at a time.
They didn’t pay rent and were evicted.
Fair enough.
Marshall but the point is made.
PING...
“After a group of adults moved out of a south Minneapolis rental house over the weekend, cleaning crews arrived to find some suspicious materials in the closet, and now the FBI are involved.
Neighbors say two women and about four men moved out of a lower apartment unit on the 3000 block of Park Avenue S. on Saturday.
The hired cleaners say they found bundles of maps and blueprints of Minneapolis and St. Paul which appeared to be from the U.S. Army. The blueprints included details such as the thickness of certain building’s walls across the Twin Cities. There was also more than a dozen live ammunition rounds over 12 inches long, the cleaners told police.
Minneapolis Police has cleared out everything from inside the property, and the FBI is now assessing the materials.”
And I’d go for either one of them if they could get control of this mess.
Favorite movie line, “Fill your hand you son-of-a-bitch!”
Of course we have to be prepared for worst case too...
They sound like illegals. If they were white supremacists or "militia" types I would expect the media to be all over this.
Why the vague references to "anti government" slogans? Could this be code talk to cover up Islamic extremist slogans?
Many young Somoli men have vanished from Minneapolis. Authorities believe they have joined the jihad in Somalia.
Maybe there is some connection.

If we're lucky, they're trying to rid the world of lutfisk... With enough lutfisk and green jello, Lutherans are poised to take over the world...
A quote from another source:
“We ran into a bunch of blue prints of Minneapolis-St. Paul Army Air Force property. It had thickness of walls, hour ratings, explosives and fires,” said one of the men with the cleaning crew, who wished to remain anonymous.”
The missing youts have been covered here, in depth...
Yep, there could be a connection. Hopefully, any connection won’t be swept under the rug.
Its Al Franken and the MARSHALL Laws.
Come on folks. Spell check and know a bit of history, at least.
I was also impressed by the reporter's grasp of what he was writing about- government chains and commands.
What exactly is an ‘hour rating’ and how would a ‘cleaning’ crew guy have analyzed the prints such that he recognized them?
I have no idea what an hour rating is, I was actually hoping someone else knew.
There are some “Christian Identity” types here in the Twin Cities, in fact ran into one yesterday - in Eagan.
Hmm, now what kind of stupid terrorist, domestic or otherwise would leave something like that, or the maps for that matter, behind?
This stinks like a 3 day old dead fish of Plant. By whom and why, is the question.
A loaded .50 BMG round is just under 5 1/2 inches long.
A 25mm round for the Bushmaster cannon is about 8.3 inches long.
Even the rounds for the mighty GAU-8 Avenger used in the A-10 to kill tanks is only about 11.4 in long.
The rocket from an AT-4 Light Anti-armor Weapon is 18 inches long.
Modern reporting leaves a bit to be desired.......
;-)
The first thing that came into my mind was a fire rating, but it could also be an amp rating - how much charge a battery will constantly deliver before it dies.
It’s impossible to know from the story, however.
Was this the old 0bama campaign headquarters?
_______________
LMAO!
At least there's nothing sinister about hour ratings. The National Fire Protection Association runs tests and classifies construction elements according to how long they remain intact in the presence of fire at a given temperature: 1-hour walls, 1-1/2-hour ducts, 2-hour fire doors, and so on. The results are published in the NFPA's annual handbook, which is a standard reference for the writers of U.S. building codes.
Serious stuff.
Thanks for the ping ButThreeLeftsDo.
All the more reason there must be a uniform created to identify patriotic dissenters from the islamic extremists.
Whats disturbing is the MSM cares not to discriminate and just identify anything anti-government as evil and diabolical.
