Filbert...I agree 100 percent!!! Obama ‘called’ Rush out by telling duly elected Republican members of the House and Senate that ‘they should not listen to Rush Limbaugh if they want to get anything done...’ He did this during his first week in office. Rush’s ‘I want his policies to fail’ answer was to Sean Hannity’s question of ‘so Rush, what do you think about the President telling Republican members of the House and Senate not to listen to you? And this was all done with ‘rumors’ and ‘hints’ that the Fairness Doctrine was looming large of talk radio...so of course they thought they would muzzle Limbaugh...
They were wrong.
Their strategy is backfiring on them. It’s putting Rush equal with the Presidency.
He’s smart enough not to fall for it. He turned it right back on them. Called Zero out for a debate.
That’s taking the Saul Alinsky “Rules for Radicals” personalize and destroy plan and flushing it right down the toilet.
Instead of responding in kind, Rush has turned it around in calling zero out with an intellectual challenge. No sound bites, no petty back and forth.
