This shopping list makes it painfully clear why the wolf population in alaska needs to be controlled.

Did you notice how expensive ground beef is? And ham, sausage, etc. Heck, all of this stuff is expensive.

I don't think heating oil is cheap, especially during colder months. So the existence of moose and caribou to eat is likely an essential.

Human survival is controversial in the liberal media.

Her shopping list looks like that of the tin foil hat survivalist gurus around here. Don’t worry guys, when it happens, I won’t be coming to your bunkers begging for cubes of beef broth.

Whoa! And I thought my grocery bill was high. Seriously, you could save a lot of money by using cloth diapers. Just sayin’.

Six rolls of TP divided into all that food seems a little lacking to me. Let's hope some nice soft leaves are poking through the snow about now.

What a wonderful story. About half way through I started to worry and sweat that the snow machine might not start up again.
My wife says from time to time that we should live closer to the supermarket, we are about 3 miles away from a Stop & Shop. We live in Cape Cod. I guess were not really tough citizens. The only thing similar to Ann Strongheart and us is the price of food.
