None, except bother, I suppose. He's shown all he needs to show to prove eligibility, so why should he do anything else?
And why hasnt the senate passed a resolution for Obama like the one they did for McCain that Obama was an contributor to?
Because there isn't any need for one. No one except a lunatic fringe is concerned with his eligibility.
Oh, just to make the little issue that millions in the country doubt his eligibility go away. Must not be important to you?
But we are talking about the ultimate proof of his citizenship here, not some created in 2007 computerized facsimile.
Where is the harm in showing a simple sheet of paper that states what you claim is true.
President Bush surrendered his entire medical, dental, pay and service records on the hint that he might have been absent during his national guard service, a story to this day has yet to be proved.
That’s transparency, the press poured over every document trying to find a single shred of evidence to Convict Bush of a crime even the military wasn’t aware of, and in the end the best they could do was forge a memo that didn’t last through a day’s scrutiny
It would appear that Obama cannot dare reveal who he is on the same level that George W. Bush has done.
1) When , where, and to whom?
2) Why can't we demand to see this proof, since he's a public official, and it's a requirement for public office? We're certainly allowed to see private information (weapons permits, etc) for our fellow citizens since they're public records.
so why should he do anything else?
1) To avoid paying millions in legal fees defending 22 lawsuits.
2) To settle this issue which seems to have a few million citizens quite concerned about the security of their country.
3) As an educational exercise, since it has never been an issue before, and it would be an interesting isight into the vetting process for the most important job in the world. Invite a Discovery Channel crew to do a special on it, and have some Obama spokesfolk to guide them through it, peppering in positive pro-Obama pap throughout. Assuming that he's in the clear, this should be a no-brainer way to get some good free PR.
Since he's already "bothered" by nearly two dozen lawsuits, plus states changing their election rules, he might as well do SOMETHING to end such bother, don't you think? Or, as President, is he simply helpless to think of such simple and positive solutions to turn a negative issue into a positive result?
