From the fact that the birth certificates people have been claiming are McCain's show him to have been born someplace other than where the birth certificate shown to the Washington Post reporter says he was born.

Sounds to me like he knows exactly what was going on.

And I'm just trying to tell the people who keep tossing up the Lamb documents what's going on and that they're not anything that was provided by McCain.

Google "John McCain's birth certificate" and see what comes up.

What comes up are Lamb's documents, which again disagree with both what McCain claims and what the Washington Post reporter reports.

Even Obama's Colb was forged on Kos by Jay McKinnon. Google that too.

No it wasn't. All McKinnon did was take the document posted on Kos and pasted over Obama's information and re-posted it.

Fact Check is in Chicago. They also have ties to Obama. Close ones. Does the name Annenberg ring any bells?

You didn't answer the question. I asked who other than Fact Check bothered to go to Obama's campaign headquarters in Chicago and ask to see the original document?

A Colb is a short form and is not reliable.

No less reliable as to place of birth than the long form.

The Hawaii Department of Health web site says: “The Certificate of Hawaiian Birth program was established in 1911, during the territorial era, to register a person born in Hawaii who was one year old or older and whose birth had not been previously registered in Hawaii.”

Also, Hawaii allows residents to register foreign-born infants as being born in Hawaii: Hawaiian Law §338-17.8 says:

Certificates for children born out of State. (a) Upon application of an adult or the legal parents of a minor child, the director of health shall issue a birth certificate for such adult or minor, provided that proof has been submitted to the director of health that the legal parents of such individual while living without the Territory or State of Hawaii had declared the Territory or State of Hawaii as their legal residence for at least one year immediately preceding the birth or adoption of such child… [L 1982, c 182, §1]

It is not as reliable as a long form BC which Obama refuses to release. It lacks hospital info, doctor attending birth etc. A Colb has nothing.
