I got ticketed once for the crime of walking my dog off-leash.

The cop was enraged and abusive (!?). He wanted to give me a beat-down so bad I could taste it.

So I was real careful and didn’t give him any excuses.

I think Tom Paine called it: “common sense.”

Like it or not there are times common sense prevails.

For several years we fished each summer in Canada.

As we entered Canada, Canadian Customs had a job to do and their did it.

Returning to the US almost without exception US Customs were border line rude. Just one of those times you shut up and put up with the BS.
