While this is indeed thuggery, how does this threaten the rights of someone like me, who isn't in a union??
and I why do I care?? We're talking internal union elections, not real ones. I don't see the affect on non-union workers. Am I missing something??

If you work in a company that currently is non-unionized, you or your co-workers could be threatened by leg-breakers to cast conforming votes. And then you would be unionized, like it or not.
