Maybe 2 regions, but not 6. Texas could split off and become a new country, leaving all the debt to the old USA. Then other states that feel the same way could unite with Texas to become a new republic.

Bump that. Pretending it does not exist is suicidal. Yet even the 'right-wing' media practically dismisses them and/or the ChiComs as a threat. We have dopes on CNBC and other places that actually encourage Americans to invest in China. They've being doing it for the past decade or so. I guess making money is all that matters for some people.
