I’m showing my age here but I remember Tootle the Turtle and Mr. Wizard. It was a cartoon about a turtle who always wanted to be something else, usually glamorous or dangerous, like an astronaut or soldier or something. The obliging wizard would wave his wand and Tootle would become what he wanted, until he realized reality was a lot different from his imagination. At the point that he got into deep trouble in his new life, he would call out for help and Mr. Wizard would wave his wand again and bring him home with some catchphrase like “It’s better to be what you are than to be what you isn’t.” This is like Tootle as president.
I think it’s time! Call Mr. Wizard!
