Then there's the Machinegun.
Got an Expert in firing and handling an M60 Machinegun. Not only that, I and another fellow did all the machinegun fire for John Wayne's movie "The Green Beret". We fired both M60s and 50 Cal. For effect they had us fire the 50 until the barrel heated up and slumped ~ the "effect" was this kind of really loud banging created as the rounds smacked repeatedly into curved steel as they traveled down the barrel.
Despite headgear I couldn't hear well for a couple of weeks after that.
Yes, machineguns are DIFFERENT. Really DIFFERENT.
I will concede that they work differently. But they shouldn’t be regulated. No guns, knives, or other weapons should be regulated. Their natural role is to protect civilians from their government’s force. You need anything you can afford for that.
