Cut him some slack.
It’s his very first job.
SLACK is for taking up, not for giving out.
;)
Actually, he managed a big grant-funded project for Bill Ayers. Not exactly the kind of job experience that prepares one for the Presidency, but it was actually a job—my wife had a one-year post-doc in which her job was largely to get grants, while another long-term post-doc had managing grant-funded projects as a full-time job.
The problem (beyond his wanting to head the country in the wrong direction) is that other than Gates and Clinton he doesn’t have anyone competent to delegate anything to.
Geithner, besides being a tax-cheat, is also a moron when it comes to dealing with economic crises: he had the Indonesia portfolio at the IMF when he was there, and managed to run the Indonesian economy into the ground. Obama couldn’t fill the Commerce portfolio in a timely manner, and his chief-of-staff is only useful as a political hatchetman.
Without a good cabinet to delegate things to, and the ability and willingness to do it, no President can do the job. Of course, if you’ve got a really good cabinet and good skills at delegation, you can do a splendid job as POTUS and still take afternoon naps, witness Ronaldus Magnus.
***Cut him some slack.

That would be knee slapping funny if it wasn’t ABSOLUTELY TRUE...
with the result being the entire planet’s fanny is now in a sling.
It’s tough earning that free government housing.
“Cut him some slack.
Its his very first job.”
At first I laughed at your comment. Then I thought about it for a nano-second - then I cried. We’re in trouble folks - this clown is in WAY over his head...
Kudos, bon mots. Best line of the day!

Thank you! Very funny, you made me laugh. I really needed that today.

Exactly! What were people thinking?!
But, the MSM and others didn't think Sarah Palin was qualified!
Heck, I'm more qualified than Obama!!! At least, I have owned and managed successful businesses which is more than the community organizer can claim.
