Sorry girls, but we ran someone like you in 2008 - didn’t go over too well nationally. Someone should clue them in that a left-wing state like Maine is not the same as the nation at large.

I hope Snow and Collins have enjoyed their try at elected office. Hopefully they’ll be voted out. I’m contributing to any candidate that opposes them.

"You'd think they might take a page out of our book rather than trying to fight it," Snowe said of the national GOP last week.

Didn't the GOP take a page out of your book in the last election?

I have known Snowe since the mid-70’s. She only acts in her own interest. Why McKernan ever married her is beyond my wildest imagination.

moderate U.S. Sens. Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins

Well that's all I need to know about this source's bias.

Snowe, Collins and Specter are well to the left of Rockefeller.

What was Bush and McCain then? Bush spent more than anyone else since LBJ. McCain was your candidate. Moderate.

But the party as a whole, she said, needs to return to the principles espoused by Ronald Reagan, who adopted a "big umbrella" approach to ideology."I don't see how we can grow a majority by shrinking the ideological confines of our party, as some people want us to do," she said.

I agree, so tell your establishment idiot so-called intellectuals to knock it off. Frum called Palin a cancer. Chris (no Bill) Buckley backed Obama. Parker went after Palin. What did I do? I took one for the team and backed your candidate, McCain.

I have no problem with letting Maine be Maine as long as your area stops trying to micromanage my area.

The Democrat lites won in Maine, so they think they should be an example of how the Republican Party should be redefined. Following their examples, wouldn’t it be easier for Republicans to switch to the Democrat Party.

Wake up, Ms. Snowe.

Okay, I’m gonna count back from 10, when I reach one, you will wake up and realize you are a true idiot.

Hey Susie baby, the GOP DID take a page out of your playbook. They nominated RINO McCain and had the other two frontrunners - Rudy and Mitt cut from the same cloth.

Romney would have been by far the best of that bunch. He might have actual run a real campaign, unlike the buffoon who was nominated.

Snowe and Collins sold out. If they are not RINOs, they might as well be.

Refresh my memory, please. Didn’t the Democrats put up a big fight against Collins in 2008? And didn’t she come crying to the Republicans for a LOT of money, which they forked over to her? That’s one of the reasons I’m so furious with her: she takes our money then refuses to vote with the party. A total hypocrite.
