The Bezmenov interview video can never be mentioned enough or viewed by enough people. Please note it runs about an hour and may take a while to load, but well worth it. Show it to your liberal friends and show them what tools they are.

I have seen a number of threads about these videos and I think I have watched them all.
Nothing in them surprises me. It’s a time warp. My parents said many of the same things and spoke in the same manner, in the same era as these videos, and before. I grew up with this knowledge and frame of reference. I do find it odd that people here are surprised by the content. I suppose I am not young anymore and people with this understanding (like my parents) are long gone.
Question: Does anyone know how this stuff suddenly surfaced? A search of this man’s name (or the other, Tomas Shuman) finds plenty of sites with the videos or references to them, plus there is some other misc. info. Yet, I can’t find a bio or much else about the man. Only what’s recorded on the videos. Kind of weird.
It’s as if he has resurrected from the grave to give a last warning.

Well, he managed to defect, made it to Canada and worked for the CBC for a while. He says the Soviets tried to threaten and intimidate him, but he never buckled, but finally the bureaucrats at the high levels of the Canadian Government buckled to the Soviets and he wasn’t given much of a voice.
It’s obvious he’s a right wing lunatic right? Why shouldn’t the media suppress his views? lol.
He’s dead now, but his message can no longer be suppressed, so let’s spread it around.

To summarize this video, if I followed it correctly:
Stage 1: Demoralization: 15-20 years is what it takes to educate one generation of students and expose them to the ideology of the enemy. Bezmenov says this process was completed (by time of interview).
Stage 2: Destabilization: 2-5 years for the economy, foreign relations, and defense systems to be destabilized.
Stage 3: Crisis: 6 weeks to bring a country to the verge of crisis.
Stage 4: Normalization follows violent change of power, structure, and economy. Big brother government. Normalization lasts indefinitely.
Looks like we're at Stage 4 now, except the change of power here wasn't violent.
I have seen this before, but you can never see it enough. I wish there was a way to get this shown in schools.
Anybody have any idea as to how one might approach this given that “they” already control the schools?
A couple of observations...
He warned us of this before and early in the Reagan era. I’m sure that at that time he would never have predicted that it would be the Soviet Union that would collapse and that capitalism would triumph over communism (at least briefly). What saved us was Reagan and his unwavering convictions and communication skills that was to the leftist propagandists like water on the wicked witch of the west. He single handedly beat back the propaganda of the left, which interestingly enough was Bezmenov’s prescription at the end of the video for our salvation.
However, unlike smallpox, marxism has not been eradicated. As us freepers are aware, it’s come back with a vengeance and I believe they’re further along today in their goal then they were back when Reagan came to power. Is another Reagan in the wings? If so he’s doing a good job of hiding.
Back when this video was made it was the soviet KGB driving this destabilization. I keep asking myself, with no USSR and no KGB who is the driver of this campaign today? I know many will say it’s Soros and his ilk, but is he just one of the useful idiots or the real thing. I don’t know... I’ll have to check with David Horowitz’s sites - he seems to be really plugged in the various networks.
But I wonder if in the final analysis the real driver is genes. There are people that believe or are easily sold on the idea of utopia and “equality” and regardless how many time it’s been shown to be a failure, for them hope springs eternal - I swear it’s genetic. I don’t know how you fight that - perhaps gene therapy?
Can you imagine if Obama had not been elected - there would have been violence I assure you his followers are useful idiots
