I don't like to spend my time chronicling the lies of the Barack Obama media machine.
But sometimes it is imperative in this ugly age of derivative, copycat, gotcha-style, blame-the-messenger pseudo-journalism where anyone sitting in the comfort of their easy chair thinks he has license to smear the few who actually take boots-on-the-ground reporting seriously.
This is one of those moments.
It's no secret to anyone that much of the establishment press in the U.S., and even worldwide, is little more than an amen chorus for the man in the White House.
And there is a concerted effort under way, among some armchair pundits, to defame one of the most courageous young journalists in the world who happens to work for me.
His name is Aaron Klein and he serves as Jerusalem bureau chief for WND. In that role, he has set a new standard of daring and bravery, interviewing in person some of the most dangerous terrorists in the world. He even wrote a book about his experiences over the last several years "Schmoozing With Terrorists."
Lately, however, Klein has produced a number of scoops about Wikipedia's predilection for censoring negative facts about Obama, particularly those dealing with his questionable eligibility status to serve as president.
(snip)
As I mentioned earlier, Klein's research assistant made the Wikipedia submissions. And Klein had independent confirmation of others making similar submissions with the same result deletion by Obama's Wikipedia palace guard.
I tell you all this because, in my business, reputation and credibility constitute our lifeblood. And, I know from personal experience that when your reputation and credibility is being gang-raped like this even by people with no reputation or credibility of their own it causes real damage.
I've been a victim of it.

Yes this administration has learned well from history, Nazi that is.

I’ll give an example: Dumbo’s eligibility issue has been described as a violation on Wiki and deemed “fringe” but here’s John McCain’s wiki entry:
“McCain, having been born in the (Panama) Canal Zone, if elected would have become the first president who was born outside the current 50 states. This raised a potential legal issue, since the United States Constitution requires the president to be a natural-born citizen of the United States. A bipartisan legal review and a unanimous but non-binding Senate resolution both concluded that he is a natural-born citizen, but the matter is still a subject of some legal controversy.”
It may seem like it but Wikipedia is not the internet’s prime information center. They didn’t make any promises.
This is a place where you can make something that anyone can see if it is a good enough idea. The more you use Conservapedia or other conservative wiki style sites, the more other people will use them. It’s common sense.
There’s no need to complain, act for your cause instead.
When I read about how Wikipedia was standing guard over Obama’s “biography,” I made changes in the caption under the image of what Wikipedia calls simply: “Obama’s Birth Certificate.” I made the change three or four times, to “Obama’s alleged Certification of Live Birth, often falsely called his “birth certificate.”
My change was removed in LESS THAN ONE MINUTE, EACH TIME.
Someone is indeed STANDING GUARD over the Obama “biography.”
Even some Freepers get in the WND bashing and discredit legitimate journalists.
You’re never going to get the Birther junk in there, that’s just a wasted dead end.
Traction can probably be gained on making mentions of both Wright and Ayers more prominent on the main Obama page, though. Discussion there indicates that the “full protection” status may be removed tonight or tomorrow, so keep an eye out.
