My faith is based on the Bible, not gushy feelings or a burning in the bosom or something. The Bible does not allow for evolution. It didn’t before Darwin, it doesn’t now.

Interesting, that because evolution was not mentioned in the bible, it therefore does not exist. And if it should turn out that God was the intelligent designer of evolution, he would then be considered a liar by none other than you, who would sit in judgement of God.

No- the bible just confirms creation- biology, mathematics, chemical laws, and natural laws mean that macroevolution doesn’t exist- impossible to exist- Well, all htose AND hte fact that there isn’t any actual evidenece for macroevolution- it’s a case of building up enough evidence to present a ‘beyond reasonable doubt’
But do keep trying to minimize by claiming that we only reject macroevolution only because ‘it’s not in the bible’- quite amuzing statement really- Grab another beer

IF macroevolution were a fact, there would be evidence for it, and IF God intelligently designed evolution, then it wouldn’t be a natural process now would it? It would be a designed process whereby nature bends to the will of God- Naturalism however rules out any such intervention and manipulation by a higher intelligence- but once again, since there is no evidence for macroevolution, since it violates all the key underpinnings of science itself, and since it is impossible on many fronts,, we can reasonably assume it doesn’t actually exist as a real process, and that God meant what He said when He told us He created Man, and hten, because htere was no other suitable mate found for him amoung all the other created creatures, God then created woman as Adam slept- when He awoke, woman was present- IF you beleive God used macroevolution, a process for hwich htere is no evidence, how long would you say Adam slept while awaiting a mate? A couple million years? Was God lying to us when He said He created Adam while Adam slept? Was God lying to us when he said He infact did create a mate for Adam? IF Adam had to wait for macroevolution to ‘work it’s magic’ and make Adam a mate, How old would adam be once hte process of macroevolution did the impossible?
Beleive what ya want- Conform hte bible to your beleifs, but don;’t expect us to swallow that tripe when a common sense reading of God’s word dictates otherwise.
I believe the proper phrase was the bible does not allow for evolution, as noted in post number 201, and it was not make by me. I do share your amazement, however.

Actually anyone who reads their Bible would come to that conclusion. And I mean really reads it, not reads it then tries to make it jive with the ideas of Marxists and atheists.
