WASHINGTON, Mar 10, 2009 (UPI via COMTEX) -- U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., says he's ready to work with President Barack Obama, the man who dashed his hopes for the White House last year.

From issues involving Afghanistan and Iraq to military procurement reform, McCain says he is ready to work with the White House, Politico reported. Last week, he had a breakfast meeting with Defense Secretary Robert Gates, appeared with the president at a White House media event and discussed how to squelch budget earmarks with Vice President Joe Biden.

"These are terrible, perilous times, so I will seek ways to work with the president of the United States," McCain in his interview with the Washington publication. "I don't want him to fail in his mission of restoring our economy."

This brings as much of a shock as Obama’s team saying they are willing to work with the Taliban.

“I guess that means he’s wearing knee pads.
Or carrying KY Jelly.”

I hear he doesn’t like it with KY Jelly, but his knees do get to hurting after an hour or two.

mccain was in on the fix from the start. he was caught off guard when he brought Gov.Palin in and when she tried to express her true views, he and his handlers pulled the plug on her. mccain wanted to run, but not win obammma wanted to run, but made a blood pact with peelosi and the far far lefties to just read what's on the telprompter. his reward will be lots of pictures of him looking visionary along with kobe beef.

And just yesterday, McCain said about earmarks ...

I hope that B.Obama isn't offended when people discuss ear-marks.

Apparently, Capt. McCain flunked his TORPEX (torpedo exercise) in the Navy by sinking his own ships.

And here we went and paraded a veritable army of nubile young women in front of him and he still wants to get together with his old buds from the Senate and do “reacharounds”.

It’s stories like these that make me believe we were forced to take McCain as our nominee.

He's been "working with" Obama since Senate Resolution 511, if not before.

I believe you are right on with that. It was obvious that Sarah had much more independence and intelligence than he had figured on. Many always poo-poo conspiracies but I’ve lived long enough to know and experience that people will conspire to remove a good Scoutmaster, the president of the local Lion’s Club, School Board leadership and they’ll DARN sure conspire to manipulate others for the higest position in the world for some sort of benefit, either power, money, influence or all three.

McLame was just too obvious towards the end of his campaign, too quick to concede and too unbelieveably stupid not to pick up on golden opportunities. No corrupt, self-serving politician is THAT dumb.

I’ve met and spoken with John McCain several times. The best thing I can say about him is that his wife is hot.

Damn rabscuttle...you sure must hate McCain! Rather than posting articles over more PERTINENT issues that are more pressing than your little personal vendetta against McCain, you choose to deluge this site with “hate McCain” articles...

IF perchance, you are engaging in some sort of subtle humor, or perhaps forgot your 'sarc off' tag, I'll say 'ha, ha, ha!'

On the other hand, if you actually meant what you posted, you can shove it where the sun don't shine.

Rabscuttle?

Keep them anti-McCain articles comin', let nobody forget how that scum-sucking RINO threw the election and gave us Comrade 0bama.
