So US News and World Report, i.e. Democrats, think Rush is a drag on the Republican Party? Gosh, I wonder what they think we should do, something moderate like nominate a guy named McCain to run for POTUS again? Oh, and let’s just keep RINO Republicans in office and allow them to call themselves Republicans, and let’s not forget to let any and everyone vote in the primaries regardless of their party registration. Sounds like a recipe for great success!

When are Republicans going to stop letting the democrats and media defining what the Republicans should and shouldn’t do? The Republican ran McCain because of that and see what it got them. Come on Republicans run you own party and to Hell with what those outside the party thinks, just be conservative and watch what happens!

This is BIG LIE IN ACTION.

If you want to fight this we have to attack it at the media source by flooding their emails AND FLOOD CONGRESS.

remember CONGRESSIONAL REPRESENTATIVES ARE NOT THE SMARTEST.

If democrats really thought Rush was really bad for Republicans they would keep their little mouths shut.

Who needs a poll to see how unpopular Rush is?

Consider that 15,000,000 listen to him weekly.

That means that 4,485,000,000 DON'T!

Imagine the wasted effort in minimizing, denigrating, and criticizing someone who has a mere .3% of the listening base?

Rush just said that his listening audience has gone up 32% from a base of 20m-22m. Looks like Rush is getting the last laugh.

Rush must be doing something right if they are still trying to destroy him. If the NYT starts praising you or the MSM starts praising you if you are a conservative, then you’ve lost. If they are still demonizing a conservative, they must be losing.

- Rush is on live when most of us are working and cannot listen to him. So if the workers can’t listen to him, then who are these millions that do listen to him?

- Rush provides at least three totally different aspects in his program
+ Humor, entertainment. The reason he is #1,
+ Ad Hominem attacks. The reason he is so divisive and so many think that they disagree with him and think that he hurts the GOP election day (which he does).
+ Positions on issues. Most people actually agree with him on the issues, even those who say they don’t. that is because the Ad Hominem detracts from his message.

Of course, the Ad Hominem overlaps the humor. That is the problem. What is good for talk radio is not good for Republicans on election day.

If Rush was such a big threat to the Republican Party, the Democrats would want him on the air 24/7.

Truth is not a matter of polls or majority votes. Rush and conservatives should stick to their principles.

Democrats are worried about us? What sweethearts!

Arent they though? :-) Up until now I had no idea they cared so much about the well being and future of the Republican Party.

I think I shall return the favor by giving them some advice: Hey Democrats, Obama? Stick with him. His idea of spending trillions of dollars we aint got is obviously good for the economy.

Gingrich on MTP had a good answer when Gregory asked him if Rush was good or bad for the Republicans.

He said, Is Chris Matthews good or bad for the Democrat party?

I don't think there was a substantive comeback.

The whole Rush issue is not whether he's good, or bad, for anybody anywhere. The issue is, can the Stalinists get away with silencing critics when most Americans feel strongly about the First Amendment?

By Goldsteining Rush for three years, perhaps the people will be ready for “sweeping commonsense reasonable reforms of the radio broadcast system”, especially if it's better for children.

So if it wasn’t for Limbaugh a lot of Dems would become Republican?

No? Didn’t think so.

So why do I care what they think?

Wait a minute!

McClatchy Poll just came out and 33% of Americans approve of Rush.

If Repubs are half the electorate then 66% of Repubs approve of Rush. Who gives a fart what Libtards and RINO's think?
