Indeed. The presence of australopithocine, a fully bipedal primate with the brain the size of a chimp, is itself a powerful testament to the evolution of primates and the change from knuckle walking to bipedalism. It really doesn’t matter one bit if Lucy is a human ancestor or the start of a branch that died out for the evidence of Australopithocine to show that apes were changing and evolving at a time when there were no human beings.

If we evolved from apes why are apes still here? If we did and apes are still here where are the human-ape transition creatures?
