You haven’t a clue what you’re talking about.There's two different types of "conservatives". Ideological conservatives and what I call "Conservatarians". Ideological conservatives actually believe in something and have a coherent set of beliefs(e.g., that the soul begins life at conception, the soul provides free will if people use their free will to abuse others they must be punished etc...).Conservatives are for people. We understand that people make mistakes in life, and we’d rejoice that she was keeping the baby.

Conservatarians treat politics like a sports team. They root for the "conservatives". Anything conservatives do is justified anything democrats do is proof of their inherent evil, rather than misguided ideology.
TomServo has a point, there are plenty of Conservatarians on FR that will defend or equivocate actions by supposed "conservatives" even if those actions are completely contrary to conservative principles.
