Thursday at the Big East [More hard times for the NY Times]

At one point in the first half of last night's loss to West Virginia, Notre Dame trailed 11-2, with one made field goal and one broken laptop. An errant pass from Zach Hillesland sailed into press row and made a direct strike into the back of a New York Times Web producer's Dell laptop. We'll let him remain anonymous, but he gave us the permission to run the photo below. As you can see, his screen was fried:

they took a mafia-type loan from a Mexican billionaire, sold floors of its towers during a buyers market, selling its private jet... and now this? How will it ever recover?

They won’t unless they get a bailout. Sending a reporter to basketball games. What a waste of money.

Savage was saying on his show that he finds it breathtaking that these hardcore liberal newspaper writers keep spewing leftists anti-American, pro-Islam, pro-gay agenda as the papers sink and they are losing their livelihood because the public wilkl not read their propaganda.

meanwhile, conservative talk radio continues to do well. I think newspapers could have lasted longer if the content was better. Everyone thought AM radio was dead and buried until Rush revived the medium.
