Didn’t “they” just tell us a while back that most bottled water is just tap water?

The study, which will be published in the Environmental Science and Pollution Research journal showed that those waters in PET plastic bottles had around twice as much oestrogen contamination as those in glass bottles. It is thought that the plastic ingredient bisphenol A, which acts like oestrogen, leaches out of the plastic bottles. Sounds like it's the bottle and not the water. If you are drinking sodas in plastic bottles, you could also be at risk. I wonder about using plastic knives and forks. Or tupperware...

It’s a tin foil moment but ...
Lot’s of women are on the pill. They all pee. Some flush expired medicine down the toilet.
Estrogen and it analogs are very persistent in the water system.

Article does not specify what water brands (water brand LOL) nor does it specify which country. Does this test include USA water?
Seems to point to mineral water, not plain water.
To: GonzoII
The article is a farce. It never mentions the numeric levels of the elevation, nor does it discuss the safe limits as a basis for comparison.

Feh.
This is nothing more than a German pseudo-science attack on the global giant American-made Nalgene bottles.

bisphenol A is BAD juju; about as bad as it gets in today’s consumer world.
DO NOT microwave ANY plastic ware. EVEN the dishes food comes in. Switch to glass.
DO NOT put the ANY plastic stuff (even those pans Marie Calendars stuff comes in) in the oven.
DO NOT use soft baby bottles. (the big mfgrs have said they are going to remove bisphenol A from their products but I do not believe them)
While I am at it get rid of all your teflon coated pans. Next worst juju
