May as well change the title to "idiots for cannabis.com". They aren't "christians".
All "recreational drugs and drug use, cannabis included, are destructive to society. They destroy lives not just those of the users either. I don't want to pay for the costs of your pot use, sorry. That includes the lungs you'll need after you cough your old ones out one day.
Below IS the Christian view on the subject. Man has been “consuming” marijuana since the Beginning, and if you don’t believe in the Creation, as I suspect, then the time line for human pot usage goes back countless eons, to when we were nothing more than tiny ground crawling omnivorous critters.
Genesis 1:11 And God said, Let grass come up on the earth, and plants producing seed, and fruit-trees giving fruit, in which is their seed, after their sort: and it was so. 1:12 And grass came up on the earth, and every plant producing seed of its sort, and every tree producing fruit, in which is its seed, of its sort: and God saw that it was good. 1:29 - “Throughout the earth I give you all plants that bear seed and every tree that bears fruit with seed: they shall be yours for food”.
Man has been “consuming” marijuana since the beginning. Everyone’s genetic makeup is “in tune” with this plant...God made sure of it.

Hope you don’t blow a gasket as this might be the answer to the upcoming world food shortage. A better alternative to the “Soilent Green” scenario, don’t you think?
