Evan Bayh (D, IN) is definitely distancing himself from Baraq here in Indiana, despite the fact that the state went for BHO in the election.
Evan is a smart politician if nothing else.
He’s up for reelection in 010.
Polls and voter input must be telling him something.

“We have exhausted the use of Rush as an attention-getter,”

Translation: That kinda backfired on us.

Their latest msg dated 3/13/09:

The next few weeks will be some of the most important our movement for change has encountered yet.

Mitch wrote to you earlier this week about Organizing for America’s Pledge Project — an effort to identify and mobilize support across the country for the economic vision President Obama has outlined in his budget.

If you haven’t yet done so, pledge your support now and ask your friends, family, and neighbors to do the same:

http://my.barackobama.com/pledgeproject

The budget that passes Congress has the potential to take our country in a truly new direction — the kind of change we all worked so hard for. We didn’t fight to shy away from the tough long-term decisions Washington has ducked for far too long.

President Obama knows, as you do, that our future strength and prosperity depends on Washington finally taking the hard and smart steps in energy, health care, and education that will make sure America and its families are strong for decades to come.

And while his budget reflects those important values and priorities, the President also understands the government has to cut spending like so many families and businesses are being forced to do now. He invests where we need to and cuts where we must.

In the next few weeks we’ll be asking you to do some of the same things we asked of you during the campaign — talking directly to people in your communities about the President’s ideas for long-term prosperity. But first, start with your own pledge of support, and the support of your friends, family, and neighbors:

http://my.barackobama.com/pledgeproject

We know this fight won’t be easy. But important battles never are. Together, we have the opportunity to shape our country’s future. We believed in the power of people to win an improbable election victory. And we believe in the power of people to drown out the cynics and entrenched interests in Washington to bring lasting, meaningful change we can all be proud we played a role in.

Thanks,

David Plouffe

So, will Big Brother’s decree of a daily two minute hate against Rush Limbaugh now be expanded to target all Republicans as a group?

Obama campaign Restarted Ping!

Propaganda Attack begins

Obama's reaction to the Increasing disatisfaction with the horrrible truth on his stimulus plan as revealed by critics, is not to change a failing policy, but instead he will call out the Obama campaign to redefine reality.

This is NNOT good news for the economy.

The lying bas-turd has been telling the nation that “the economy is basically strong,” or the same message that he used to bludgeon McCain with it during the campaign.

The plan follows the private complaints of some Democrats that Obama let the GOP get the better of him during the debate over pork in the budget bill he just signed, and growing concerns among some Democrats that charges of big spending could stick to the president.

The words, doesn't begin to address the sheer levels of stupidity and insanity needed to make this POS comment. After signing two Stimulus Bills laden with stealth-spending and secret legislation into law, the Not-President had announced to the Media and the Public that he would go through every subsequent bill, line by line, and remove every piece of pork from it.

Then came the Omnibus Spending Bill, known as PORKULUS II.

Given nearly 9,000 opportunities to make good on his promise with a Budget bill containing more pork than Denny's has ever served in its grand-slam breakfasts, he signed it without reading it or raising an eyebrow.

The only comment that he probably made was, "Next?"

So, now that millions of Americans are crying, "Foul," over this obviously bloated and bogus budget bill, including ones who voted for ZERO, it seems like the cadres of ACORN activists have already been out there cajoling opponents of Obama's economic plans since November.

They want to make sure that we do not object to our money being taken from us and thrown at the housing and banking crisis that Obama and his fellow Democrats created.

Somewhere buried in the news media last year was a story about 25 ACORN activists who showed up at a Wachovia branch office in Orlando carrying signs and demanding that the bank should stop foreclosing on "good people who deserve to stay in their homes." Apparently, Orlando has been at the top of ACORN's list of anti-foreclosure activities.

Concurrently with their "Home Defender" program of active lawbreaking, ACORN are using using similar activist tactics to get fiscally responsible people to continually reward the fiscally irresponsible ones by supporting every single, massive spending bill that Obama and the Demo-gods ram through Congress.

One can only wonder what sorts of extortion tactics they will use to force their Leader's Socialistic agenda down our throats.

Beginning with Clinton's signing of the Community Reorganization Act, or CRA(minus the "p" at the end), ACORN began intimidating banks to give mortgage loans to people who could not afford to pay for them. Today, they are back, intimidating those same banks to do it all again with the same people, calling them, "Predatory lenders," in an effort to cast them as bad guys (aka "rich, white bank officials") preying on helpless minorities (aka African Americans).

"Predatory lenders?" I'm sorry, but I must have missed the stories about "rich, white bank officials" sitting in their Mercedes, parked inside of government housing projects, ARM agreements in hand, waiting to pounce on unsuspecting "minority families" as they left their apartments and forcing them to buy houses that they could not afford then or now.
