The realization that commercial airliners could be used as weapons, analysis of the the weaknesses in our airline security system, and tactical execution were brilliant. Had the raggies infiltrated Camp Pedleton and destroyed the Marine Corp’s ability of world wide deployment at a moment’s notice, that would have been brilliant. Slaughtering innocent civilians not party to a conflict is just plain cowardly. Not brilliant.
