I live in what is locally called the “Quad Cities” area - Pullman WA, Moscow ID, Clarkston WA, and Lewiston ID.

U of I is centered in Moscow, and there has been not a whisper of anything of this sort happening. I am hoping someone responsible can and will come up with audio tape, videotape or some such to verify...

In the meanwhile, I know someone who works in the Academic Media Department at WSU in Pullman, WA. I will attempt to have them contact their counterpart at U of I to see if they have any direct knowledge.
