Well before his 30th birthday, Tulsa native Jamie McDonald will have worked for one White House administration and in two branches of the federal government.

Last year, he was working in the White House counsel's office. This summer, he will return to Washington, D.C., for the opportunity of a lifetime — being a clerk for Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts.

If Danny Bickle really has been replaced, then big congratulations to all involved, especially Dr Orly Taitz, who may be largely responsible

But when the call came, he learned he would be one of Roberts' four law clerks

A routine shuffle. I believe the clerks generally serve one-year terms. Nothing in the article indicates Bickel was "fired for cause," "reprimanded," or even noticed.

Bickle found himself in a pickel.

Dr. Taitz needs a bodyguard 24/7, do we have anyone that can be a guardian shadow for her?

Thank you again Orly, you remind me of the movie 10,000 BC.

“He is NOT a god!”

Its an awesome movie, its been on the HBO channels for the last couple of days nonstop. Its one I would buy as a DVD.

Story about young man from a wooly mammoth time period that is forced to save his true love from a would be god (Atlantis survivor) that has kidnapped thousands to build his pyramid.

I see Orly as Evolet, she has the sign of the hunter, the Holy One has a prophesy that fears this with mortal dread.

Hmmm ... Bickle and his co-workers are losing their jobs and would certainly like to ingratiate themselves with the new administration ... hmmm.

Motive plus opportunity = probable cause for investigation

Is it routine for the clerks to be replaced in the middle of the Supreme Court term?

What’s with the headline? Who the heck is Danny Bickle? He’s certainly not a law clerk, so he has no relevance to this article at all. BTW, all the scotus law clerks get replaced every summer.

No. Was a clerk recently replaced mid-term? The selection decisions are generally announced almost a year before the term starts.

Danny Bickle was individual identified as the law clerk who refused to file Dr. Taitz’s supplemental brief in the Supreme Court.

Either Dr. Taitz was lied too and “Danny Bickle” is a pseudonym or Bickle has been scrubbed from Wikipedia has having been a law clerk in the Supreme court.

Bickell's a Staff Attorney at SCOTUS, not a law clerk, as you pointed out.

"Danny Bickle was individual identified incorrectly identified by Orly Taitz as the law clerk who whom she alleges refused to file Dr. Taitz’s supplemental brief in the Supreme Court."

Fixed it.

(Danny Bickle gets replaced

If Bickel's a law clerk then he's only there for a year anyway. If he's a Clerk of the Court then that's an administrative position that he could hold for years.

He’s not a law clerk, he’s a Deputy Clerk. And, he’s been at the court for at least several years. (At one point, he was apparently a staff attorney, according to documents viewed in from Google search.)
