FOR ALL of its strategic wisdom and clearheadedness, the National Union is a political home for delusional politicians. In all of its various incarnations - from Tehiya to Herut to Moledet to the National Union - the party has never been able to understand what it means to govern. It has never been able to recognize that politics is the art of compromise.

Compromise with evil produces evil, so it's always a tough call how much evil one is willing to tolerate. How could they remain "right all along" while simultaneously compromising with those who are dead wrong?

This article seeks parity in search of supporting a stupid premise of moral equivalence where there is none. There is nothing in a parliamentary system that precludes National Union from cooperating with Habayit Hayehudi, so what's the big problem? As things are, there are two voices for the media to marginalize and ignore instead of one.

Look at the actual results in Israel before spouting theological assertions on evil.
Don't get me wrong, if I were an Israeli, I would have voted for National Union.
