LOL. Do you actually think medical facilities actualy keep records for 40 years? I got news for you: they don't. Even if they did, do you think medical personell don't have better things to do than go digging through boxes of dusty old paper records?

I'm still learning things about this issue, but this is one part I can speak to. I doubt any facility even looked for these records as it would be illegal for a hospital to give out this information under current laws. Hospitals may or may not still have this information, but Hawaii hospitals are not required to keep it past 7 years in most circumstances, 25 years at most. We may never know from hospital records because they may no longer exist. If they do, it might take a court order to get them.
