As I’ve said before, if it hurt you to sit down but you had to do it anyway most of the time, you’d be grumpy too.

That “bottom” photo (pun intended)...could that be William Rivers Pitt (the Ponderous)?

I have no idea. Never heard of him.

Blarney knows he is FOS, and fully culpable for the financial meltdown, and we need to keep reminding everyone we talk to about this that he and Dodd are the architects of the loss of $ 18 trillion dollars of American wealth between house values and stock declines.

Joe Scarborough has been pounding away at Barney Frank's blame in the financial meltdown.

IMO, Barney deserves more jail time than Ken Lay was going to serve. For him to sit up there and pass judgement on others while taking no responsibility whatsoever for his own actions is what's wrong with government.

Exactly...

“then snapping at his Early Show host, Maggie Rodriguez”

Could you imagine a Republican even mildly reacting to a talking head’s vicious interrogation? It would be a First Amendment crisis. The left, on the other hand, expects ‘journalists’ of the MSM to treat them with kid gloves and never ask anything that makes them uncomfortable. The MSM has set its own standards, lopsided as they are.

“Good grief, Massachusetts, what the hell is wrong you?”

Not only Barney Franks, they gave us Kennedy and Kerry.

Thanks to all posters. I won’t post my thoughts on Barney the POS, and those that give this pig amplification without getting in his pompous face. I’ll leave it at that.

Thinking about the possibility, I’d say it isn’t “Pitt The Ponderous”. If Bawney Fwank grabbed Pitt’s ass, he’d have posted it to DU within hours!

Bourbon link? I tried the 18-year-old Elijah Craig; much better but still had a bite that an ice-cube couldn’t cool off.

Yesterday after work (72 degrees and sunny!) was a 2-over-2 day with a macanudo. Life is still good! I’m still a Maker’s Mark fan.

I was thinking something about this whole “Bonus Outrage!”

If the AIG bonuses can’t be paid out due to the fact that it is taxpayer money, then this is great thing!

That also means that AIG campaign contributions to Dodd, Frank, and any other polititians that accept money from banks that were bailed out would be outrageous!

I am outraged!

Conservatives could mount a reverse class warfare attack.

“The fat-cat politicians have accepted campaign money from banks using YOUR money, taxpayers.”

Also, they might be breaking campaign finance laws on top of it all.

Win-win.

I still like the 12 YO Elijah. In fact I’m picking up another bottle this weekend. The bit doesn’t bother me. Still waiting on that first cigar. Didn’t get to enjoy the weather much yesterday. I’ll have to wait for the next round of unseasonable temps (to the + side...).

Maggie must have 'deserved' it. Imagine! Poor Barney having to put up with the ignorance of another naysayer, and on a Sunday morning, no less, when he would rather be brunching somewhere nice. /sarc

Or put another way, how dare anyone disagree. Being on the outrage bandwagon all these years has served him well. Stirring up the hoi polloi with class warfare tactics like a good cheerleader getting the crowd riled up has kept him living large all these years, how dare someone question that!

Obama received a lot of money from AIG too. You're right. Why doesn't Olbermann ask Barney, Dodd, and Obama to give it back?
