Supporters of Capitalism Are Crazy, Says Harvard
Stop The ACLU ^ | 3/18/2009 | John Ray

In their usual projective way, Leftist psychologists, sociologists etc. have been trying for over 50 years to portray conservatives as mentally ill in some way. The article below refers to the latest such attempt. I have myself written at great length in the academic journals on claims of this sort (e.g. here and here) but the article below does such a good job of ridiculing the Leftist jerk-offs concerned that I will say no more

Last weekend, Harvard University sponsored a conference called (I am not making this up) “The Free Market Mindset: History, Psychology, and Consequences.” Its purpose was to try to figure out why, since everyone knows the current crisis amounts to a failure of the market economy, the stupid rubes continue to believe in it. The promotional literature for the conference opened with That Quotation from Alan Greenspan - the one in which he suggested that there was, after all, a “flaw” in the free market he hadn’t noticed before.

I’d love to see Harvard forced to “share” it’s endowment with it’s less fortunate brethren. From each according to their ability to each according to their need, right guys?

I’ll have to agree with this conference’s findings… Barney Frank has proven to me beyond any shadow of a doubt that the decisions he regularly makes regarding business and money are so superior to my own… that, I feel perfectly comfortable turning over every aspect of my life and finances to Mr. Frank and his colleagues.

Using our own words against us.

Liberalism is a mental disorder.

I wonder which centrally-controlled economy they think works better?

Cuba certainly does have those beautiful 1950's era cars...I wonder if that's the one they prefer.

The flaw in the free market is called GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE and the flaw can be easily corrected.

Listen people..You must realize that to have both the arrogance and ignorance to actually DISAGREE with these learned academics from Harvard and its ilk, is to prove that they are correct. You MUST be crazy if you don’t agree with them. What gall you(we) possess!

Supports of captialism are crazy says Harvard. Well, well, well, does that mean they will be closing their school of business and begin offering “free” education to those who wish to attend?

Just as their Soviet brethern, these petty dictators desire to send those "crazy" enough to believe in capitalism to either psychiatric hospitals or the Gulag. The only things which prevent them are the fact that they haven't achieved 100% power yet and the second amendment.
