So let me see if I’ve got this straight there are apparently millions of people who are perfectly happy to ignore the Catholic Church’s teachings regarding sex only within the context of a monogamous marriage but suddenly adopt the Church’s teacing with regard to not wearing condoms while doing so?
Have I got that right? And therefore the Catholic Church is to blame for the rise of AIDS.
Hmmm, not sure that I’m getting the logic of that one.
Speaking for me, I am not concerned with the catholic teachings, but am just saying that Pope Benedict is right in saying that condom distribution makes the problem worse, not better. As I remember the honest studies bear that out.
