Rep. Jeanne Richardson had the audacity to suggest that there's no real need to change the law at all. "I really don't see what the problem is with keeping your gun in your car and your ammunition in the trunk. That's a very safe plan."

Safe allright! Safe for the carjackers and rapists! "Sure, I'll wait while you get the ammo out of the trunk and load your pistol, Darlin'!" I'm sure all rapists would respond like that.

Does this idiot actually think criminals obey the law? Making it legal for gun owners to keep loaded rifles and shotguns in their cars does not make it easier for criminals to ride down the road and shoot people. In case he didn't notice, shooting people is illegal, so making loaded guns illegal is hardly a deterrent for someone intent on shooting people anyway.

The left(the ones who don't really have an agenda and believe that more guns equal more crime)doesn't get the simple fact that criminals break laws for a living, making more laws will not stop them.
