I agree.
But zero would not be able to wrest such control without the complicity of the mainstream media. They clearly see themselves as the official propaganda “mouthpiece” of an evolving socialist revolution. They have no interest in questioning; vetting; or upsetting. That is no longer their goal.
We can’t save everything at once. We have to set priorities. I believe that at the moment, New Media — the Internet, talk radio, and cable — must be protected at all costs. Without that, we’re sunk.
There’s a reason that zero is acting fast: he’s been planning this for a long time (and so have his handlers). We should be exercising our 2nd Amendment right, and securing our 1st Amendment rights. Once these are (reasonably) secure, we can worry about longer-range goals: freeing education, for example, from the monopoly control of government; freeing more of the economy; etc.
You might also look into a site like “Resistnet.org.”
You’re certainly correct that “we’re small and mobile” while government is “big, fat, stupid, and clumsy” (like all giants from fairytale-land). But communication and focus (on a few priorities) are essential for us.
There is merit in that idea, but much of the media fall under the category of "useful idiots."
As media transitioned from investigative journalism and objective reporting to become the purveyors of commercialized hyperventilation, they found that the crisis (whether it be economic, political, or some actor's latest faux pax) draws the viewers.
So an ongoing, slow-moving, multi-faceted economic CRISIS, populated with handy villains and easy targets, conveniently feeds their 24-hour news cycle.
