I have to say - this is a terrific column. But then again, he has so much raw material to work with.
Here is a personal observation. In the weeks following the election up until about a month ago I could hear my liberal neighbors in coffee shops and other establishments declaiming loudly about how wonderful the world would be with Bush out and Obama in.
It has now gone very quiet.
What I find disturbing are the loud mouths that not only won’t talk politics, but that they won’t even make eye contact with me.
I’ve had more than one actually say,”Sorry, you were right. I cast a vote against a man who wasn’t even on the ballot.”
