WASHINGTON- Today Congressman Lee Terry issued the following statement after the House passed legislation to tax bonuses paid to companies who receive federal bailout funds.
I do not support using the IRS as a weapon against individuals even if we may not like them. This bill is a charade and a cynical attempt to try to confuse constituents of those who voted for the stimulus, which included these bonuses."
Do you mean Eric Cantor, Rep whip from VA?
Oh this is going to hurt and I am going to enjoy watching the dim witted fools sqirm.
Good going Mr Terry, push and push hard
One of those dim witted fools was my Repub congressman. I sent him a blistering email this a.m. Even went so far to call him and everyone else dorks. I've had it with all of them.
IRS = SS and has for years. Where’s this guy been.
Oops my bad I had a Biden moment....
Hey I voted for this guy. I was afraid to look at how he voted, but I’m relieved to see he stuck to principle. Yes, get rid of Cantor; even if it isn’t to replace him with Terry. Nebraska still hasn’t gone totally loon. Property taxes are way too high, but at least they didn’t blow all their money in the good times and are now billions short like most of the blue states.
NICE speech, Mr. Terry. Take ‘em down! Way to go. I might have to move to Nebraska.
Terry: “Dont use IRS as a weapon”
Benatar: “Dont use sex as a weapon”
But honor, is sadly, not a congressional concept.
All those that support this illegal tax better realize, this is the first move by Barney Frank to go after all of us.
What was the report about the IRS being used to investigate pubbies under clinton? The report no congress critter dared read into the record?
Where do we find the list?
Thanks.
