US criticizes Spain on Kosovo pullout

The United States is issuing unusually strong criticism of NATO ally Spain by expressing surprise at its decision to pull out its troops from the U.N. peacekeeping mission in Kosovo.

State Department spokesman Robert Wood says the United States was "deeply disappointed" by the decision. He says Washington only learned of the move shortly before Spain announced it publicly.

Defense Minister Carme Chacon made the announcement Thursday, saying, "The mission has been completed and it is time to return home."

Asked if the United States shared that assessment, Wood said, "Not at all."

Uh huh, and Sakashvilli took the bait, now he has nothing. If NATO was providing intel and knew of this as you claim then why was NATO ilprepared and why did it not accelerate its efforts to include Georgia into NATO?

The people of Georgia lost out big time.

So they opted to live under Tudjman’s communist rule, great.

Spain did the right thing. The U.S. has been wrong every step of the way in “Kosovo.”

Russia occupied Abkhazia and South Ossetia before and now they still occupy them, so Georgia hasn't really lost much while Russia's true evil face has been shown to the world. The Russian army has been exposed as conscripted prostitutes desperate to escape and defect to Georgia just to get a Big Mac.

Let’s not lose sight of Bosnia which is nothing more than a microcosm of the failed Yugoslavia experiment. Attempting to recreate it at a smaller scale is proving just as disastrous as the original considering neither the Croats or the Serbs want to live under muslim rule and want to see Bosnia dissolved.

It's hard for a non eastern Christian who has no had to survive in dhimmitude to understand—let me try to explain a bit...

Christians “do not get along” with Muslims-—they have fought many many wars against them...rather they co-exist and have for 1300 + years except when Muslims get agitated and when powerful Christian states fall such as Byzantium to the the Muzzie Turks in the years leading to 1453 unleashing even more hell for 500 plus years.

Anything that upsets the status quo (Iraq) leads to reprisals and sometimes genocides—there have been quite a few. Christians in the East have had NO HELP OR SUPPORT FROM THE WEST that has sold them down the river many times as we still do.

The West has decided a long time ago to put their eggs in the basket of finance and business-—esp the international kind, sacrificing morality and Christians everywhere in the process to God Mammon.

How has Georgia not lost much? Are you saying that Russia’s invasion didn’t do harm to Georgians? Drinking early this afternoon or are you still recovering from the St. Partick’s day celebrations?

I blame Russia for the harm done to Georgia while you blame Georgia, America and Nato.

Slovenia has become it's own country. On the border of Austria. All those countries can do is agree to the fault line between them exists and just go on from there. That's the solution for their leaders. And the US military is STILL there picking up women and getting married.

Anyone notice this little story?

Maldives president orders probe into alleged $2M bribe to recognise Kosovo

That's how pathetic this little "Kosovo Independence" charade has gotten.

Guess that the Albanian Mafia didn't have enough money to bribe Spain to recognize their narco-terrorist state!

At an EU summit in Brussels Friday, Zapatero insisted he was pulling Spanish troops out of Kosovo because security had improved and Madrid’s role made no sense as it did not recognize the territory.

“A year ago, Kosovo unilaterally declared independence, and as is well known, Spain did not recognize this,” he told reporters at an EU summit in Brussels.

“For this reason, our role in this scenario lost some of its sense, especially once stability in the zone improved,” he said.

Georgians are proud to fight against the barbaric Russian invaders for their independence. You trivialize their struggle because you do not sympathize with their cause of freedom from Moscow’s inhuman tyranny. I am proud of Bush and America for supporting our Christian Georgian friends and helping them shoot down Russian jets and kill rabid Russian animals. Many more Russians will die until the cowards limp back home to Russia where they belong, in defeat and humiliation, just as happened in Afghanistan. Cold war 2 is going to do to Russia what Cold war I did to the Soviet Union.

“What has it gotten them now?”

Death at the hands of George Bush’s allies! What has it got us? Tens of thousands of Mohammedan immigrants, among them countless terrorists. And Eastern Christians? Uh, no, they don’t qualify because Bush’s demonic Mohammedan buddies wouldn’t stand for that.

You know what I find astonishing, TG? I find it astonishing that you are so blinded by your slavish adherence to a failed man like Bush that you would actually go over to the side of Islam in what is truly a global struggle of Christian light with Satanic darkness.

I support America. I do not support Islam. Nor do I support the foreign causes you tell your satanic anti-American lies for. Bush is a real Christian who fights muslims terrorists, not a coward who bends his knee to them. Maybe you Baathist “Christians” should try fighting islam instead of surrendering to it and then you wouldn’t find yourself on the other side from real Christians and real men.

“I support America.”

No you don’t. If you did, you would come around here supporting Islamist terrorists in the Balkans or the American president they named their main street after. America and Americans don’t support Mohammedanism or its spread; America and Americans don’t support the destruction of Christian communities. You do.

“...and then you wouldn’t find yourself on the other side from real Christians and real men.”

Real Christians?????????????????? And just what flavor of Christian do you claim to be, TG? I’ll guess you’re not Orthodox, so what is it, hmmmmmmmmmm? Show us your religious pedigree, TG! :)
