A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

Those damn American gun shops again!

Question: Can we buy the seized ammo for discount prices?

According to the Mexican army, inside the SUV, soldiers found a cache of weapons, including a shoulder-mounted rocket launcher, eight assault rifles, four handguns, six fragmentation grenades, six anti-personnel grenades, one flash-bang, 140 ammunition clips for handguns and rifles and more than 5,400 rounds.Note to Idolfonso: Stop using Babelfish to translate the copy you borrow from Mexican papers' web sites. And for the purists, it's magazines, not clips.

Really. Ask Boxer and Feinstein. 90% of the grenade launchers and RPGs in Mexico were bought at Wal-marts in the U.S.

No kidding. 60 Minutes did a hit piece a few weeks back, showing what they claimed were weapons legally purchased in the USA and illegally taken to Mexico, and there were no guns I could purchase here in the USA.

You’re darned right it is.
Fortunately, I had a pretty good stock laid in already, and I’ve been able to get a couple thousand more rounds over the last 60 days or so, albeit in a piece-meal fashion.
It’s more expensive that way, but better than not having it when you need it.

I know that’s where I go when I’m running short on fragmentation grenades.

It’s not a bit heavy for .223?
I’ve never shot anything heavier than 62 grains in the AR-15... so far.

This is why gun shows need to be shut down /s>

Not a bit. Works just fine in my Bushmaster. I don’t think it’s been released for sale to the general public, but I have a LE source.

That's great, the Mexican military communicates via a hotmail account...what professionalism...

You generally need to have a faster twist to stabilize a heavier bullet. 1:7.75 should do for .223 77 and 80 gr. If your rifle has that fast twist it should shoot fine out to 600 yds. If it doesn’t it may seem fine at 50 or 100 yds but yaw pretty wildly afterwards and it may go thru the paper at some pretty good angles at 100 yds.
