Former eBay boss Meg Whitman isn't really a California cowgirl, but she plays one on the cover of Fortune magazine.
When Whitman, who wants to be California's next governor, did a photo shoot in Half Moon Bay for the lead story in this week's issue, she used a four-legged prop named Brandy.
In a note at CNNMoney.com, Fortune editor at large Patricia Sellers revealed that it was a rent-a-horse that appeared on the cover and in a picture inside.
"The horse on the cover, Brandy, isn't Whitman's, but she does ride in Telluride, Colorado, where she and her neurosurgeon husband, Griff, have a vacation home," Sellers reported.
Whitman, a billionaire who has suggested she's willing to put $50 million of her own money into her campaign, isn't oblivious to the image that took another Republican, Ronald Reagan, to Sacramento and the White House.

I couldn’t stand those pictures. The stirrups are too long and Harris’ heels are not parallel with the ground. If you are going to ride and be photographed, do it right. Now my thoughts about the rider are expressed in the tagline.

Looks like we're going to have quite a lineup of candidates for Arnold the Stupid's post. I look at Whitman and see an absolute novice with liberal beginnings (New York, Princeton and Harvard) and with the faint but discernable odor of the dreaded "moderate", yet when compared with the list of losers who will be running...one must ask the question--can any of them be any worse than the "Abominator"???
If forced to vote for one of them, Campbell would pass the clothes pin test for me,, Poizner ,, ehh, sorry, Meg,,

What the hell—we’ve had Reagan and now Arnold. I think that’s enough. With Hollywood as it is today, I doubt we could find an actor without left wing puke credentials. Best to leave it be.
