Guess what! They ACTUALLY thought of that when they wrote the Constitution! Those who were citizens AT THE TIME OF THE RATIFICATION OF THE CONSTITUTION were also eligible to be President. It would be a good idea to read the Constitution before coming up with smart-alecky comments, Mr. Smartypants.

The point I was trying to make is that the concept how one becomes a citizen and who is a “natural born” citizen has not been constant over the years. The claim that you need to have American parents to be “natural born” is completely without basis.
